Smak Lures
What We Made

Proudly Australian Owned

SMAK Lures started with a simple idea: build lures that actually catch fish in Australian conditions.

Not imported blanks with a local sticker — genuine Australian-designed, hand-assembled tackle built specifically for the species and waterways we fish.

About

Our Story

Every SMAK lure is designed, assembled and finished in our workshop. From the wire forming on our spinnerbaits to the hand-painted finishes on every hard body, we control every step of the build. That means we can obsess over the details — blade combinations, hook placements, dive curves, colour patterns — and iterate until each lure performs exactly how we want it to.

Our product range has grown from a handful of spinnerbait models into a full lineup of spinnerbaits, crankbaits, blades, jigs and ice jigs. But the approach hasn't changed: every product is field-tested on real fish before it earns the SMAK name.
